The connectivity of the two couplets is a film of cobwebs floating in air in calm clear weather, the storm has abated and you lay in gentle repose with the one you love.

I’m a bit confused. Does ‘His’ love refer to the sun, the heavens or to something unmentionable?
Thanks for stopping by Ken. As with any poetry, this piece it is open to interpretation by the reader … ‘His’ can refer to a person, source, divinity, sunlight or even, as suggested by yourself something ‘unmentionable’. LOVE is the key here. I hope that helps … love & light!
